Lawrence County Library cardholders can now access free, unlimited high-speed internet from almost anywhere through our Wi-Fi hotspot lending program.
Portable hotspots allow library cardholders who do not have home internet access to easily get online from almost anywhere using a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a phone, tablet or laptop. Hotspots are available to check out from Lawrence County Library branches, just like a book or DVD.
Hotspots can be checked out for one week at a time. The Hotspot must be returned to the Service Desk of the location where it was checked out. Do not return the Hotspot in the book drop. When you are ready to return the Hotspot to the library, place the device and charger in the box. Please be gentle with the device, charger, booklets, and box. There is a fee for all damaged or lost items.
It’s free to get a library card so if you don’t already have one stop by one of our locations in Walnut Ridge, Lynn, or Imboden to sign up. Please bring some form of photo ID and proof of current address.
