There is a new book on display at the StoryWalk at Stewart Park in Walnut Ridge. To help the community prepare for the total solar eclipse happening on April 8th the Lawrence County Library has added Totality!: An Eclipse Guide in Rhyme and Science by Jeffrey Bennett as the latest StoryWalk offering. There is a simple rhyme on each page that can be read aloud to preschoolers and read independently by early readers, however for older children and adults there is additional information on each page that goes more in depth about the science behind the eclipse. StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson in Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellog-Hubbard Library. The StoryWalk at Stewart Park was funded with contributions made by Lawrence County Library, North Delta Community Foundation Grant and The City of Walnut Ridge.
