Storywalk at Stewart Park
There is a new book on display at the StoryWalk at Stewart Park in Walnut Ridge. To help the community prepare for the total solar eclipse happening on April 8th the Lawrence County Library has added Totality!: An Eclipse Guide in Rhyme and Science by Jeffrey Bennett as the latest StoryWalk offering. There is a simple rhyme on each page that can be read aloud to preschoolers and read independently by early readers, however for older children and adults there is additional information on each page that goes more in depth about the science behind the eclipse. StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson in Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellog-Hubbard Library. The StoryWalk at Stewart Park was funded with contributions made by Lawrence County Library, North Delta Community Foundation Grant and The City of Walnut Ridge.

Story time @ the Park
The Lawrence County Library is proud to partner with the city of Walnut Ridge and have Storytime @ the Park. Weather permitting of course, every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Miss Laura will read the littles some stories. Starting today, bring a blanket and meet at the big Pavillion at Stewart Park. Thank you City of Walnut Ridge and Charles Snapp for allowing us this opportunity to still do outreach stories and social distance. Hope to see you there!
